The new Design Institute in Hong Kong

July 24, 2010

Few weeks ago we were going back home with the bus and we bumped into this modern looking building. Sometimes it’s good to go around with the bus, so you can see what’s going on in the streets! We were curious about that strange building, so the other day, we went back there and shot some photos.

It’s a new Design Institute and it will open later on this year (I guess). It’s somewhere in the middle of (almost) nothing, in the Tseung Kwan O district. If you are in the area, go to take a look, there is also a nice view (not much skyscrapers around… yet!)

I’ve found this article about the new Institute:

Yes that causes go for a look around and make some photos … I’m just a little far.
Good documentary record. And it is curious that it is in black and white! I miss a bit more contrast, because it is very flat gray, but the frames and angles are excellent.
